About Coloro

The Coloro team is made up of experts with vast experience in the color, textile, fashion and creative industry. Having deep knowledge and understanding of the challenges that working with color brings, we are driven by the vision of helping individuals in creative industries realize their full potential. You know that feeling well: you have a vision of what it is you want to produce but frustratingly the end product is not what you envisioned. We've been there too, and it was this frustration which drove us to pursue the Coloro project.

Coloro was borne from a joint venture between Ascential, the global b2b information company, and China Textile Information Center (CTIC). We had the opportunity to work with the trend hunters and creative minds of sister brands WGSN, the global trend authority, and Cannes Lions, the Festival of Creativity. An advisory panel made of around 80 global industry leaders from across the textile, fashion, lifestyle, design, and consumer goods companies advised our team along the journey to make sure that we were producing a product that would make working with color more comprehensive, accurate and creative. Subsequently, Coloro is a product for the creatives, made with the creatives.

The color experts at CTIC (China Textile Information Center) led 20-years of consumer research that when married with our own industry research, allowed us to launch our ground-breaking, user-centric color system. CTIC are also responsible for the production of all our products out of their factory in China.
