The Coloro team is made of experts with decades of experience in the color, textile, fashion and creative industry. With a deep knowledge of the challenges that working with color brings, we are driven by the vision of helping individuals playing in creative industry realize their full potential. You know that feeling well: you have a vision and you can imagine exactly what you want to produce, but the end product cannot live up. We've been there. To be honest, it's made even the best of us want to give up. Aware of the importance that color has in the work of any creatives, we decided to pursue the Coloro project.
Coloro is a massive team work: it is a joint venture between Ascential, the global b2b information company, and China Textile Information Center (CTIC). We had the opportunity to work with the trend hunters and industry experts of sister brand WGSN, the global trend authority and the creative brains behind Cannes Lions, the Festival of Creativity. An advisory panel made of around 80 industry leaders from global textile, fashion, lifestyle, design, consumer goods companies advised our team along the journey to make sure product design lived up to the industry’s aesthetics expectations and enabled a fantastic product experience.
The color experts at CTIC (China Textile Information Center) led a 20-year industry and consumer research that allowed us to launch our ground-breaking color system. They are also responsible for the production of all our products out of their factory in China.
